APPARATUS MINI is a compact duophonic synthesizer based on the circuitry and sound architecture of the original APPARATUS. It retains the distinctive character of the APPARATUS audio path while introducing a number of new features and a significantly smaller footprint. The compact size is achieved through the use of a fully metal chassis and miniature tubes integrated directly into the instrument's circuitry.
APPARATUS MINI is not simply a smaller version of the original instrument. We have expanded its synthesis capabilities with oscillator synchronization, additional modulation possibilities, new LFO Sample & Hold filter modes, VCA Gate mode and keyboard tracking for the filter.
Like the original APPARATUS, MINI combines an analogue signal path with modern digital control, providing stable operation and precise control while preserving the character of a tube-based instrument.
Its compact format makes APPARATUS MINI equally suitable for studio work and live performance, where its small footprint allows it to fit easily into a wide range of setups.
